What’s new this spring ?

What’s new this spring ?

Oh yes, spring has sprung at Auckland Sports Massage ! What’s new ? Well as per usual, we are getting all  excited about upcoming running events our clients are taking part in and also a few I am looking forward to myself !  As a recreational runner for the last few years, I have stuck pretty much to the marathon distance.

Some might say THAT’S ENOUGH YOU NUTTER !Auckland Sports Massage runner

But as so many of us know (especially if you are hitting the mid 40’s like I am) it get’s to a point where you can’t go faster – so you kind of got to go further… don’t you ?  So here goes : I have managed to get into the Keplerchallenge.co.nz , wooohooooo!  My first mini- ultra at 60 km in the first week of December . I will need all the help I can get from my colleagues at Auckland Sports Massage to get me there.

On that note: I seem to have a knack of getting into sell out events of late – I even managed to help a mate get into Challenge Roth , which sells out in 60 seconds for 3000 participants – beat that !  I digress…

I hope you are enjoying the lighter mornings for your runs and the warmer temperatures for your rides !

As always, keep in mind that massage will help your recovery , so schedule ahead using our online booking calendar before we book up!

Happy massaging as always,

Carmen and the team at Auckland Sports massage

The run experience.  I love these guys ! It’s training advice, seminars and plans as well as strength training and problem solving for runners. Not only do they have ooodles of enthusiasm for what they do , but they also make it so easy to take on board really common sense advice in bite sized portions,

which can easily fit into your existing routine. Great You tube channel too . Great fun to watch ! Auckland Sports Massage
