Whats is covered in our Total Beginners’ Massage Course ?
Always been curious about a massage course ? Discover the basics of how to give a great massage to your partner, friends or family from an experienced professional with more than 20 years of experience in the business. Fun, useful and practical – this massage workshop is a great introduction and is both suitable as a couples massage course or for individuals (we will team you up with a partner). You will learn how to give a great massage for the back, neck and shoulders.
You can also buy a gift voucher for this course for somebody else as a couple !
Shorter massage courses are hard to find, when all you want to learn is the basics. This massage course teaches you exactly that: How to give a great massage for complete beginners! We cover basic anatomy, when not to massage and an easy to remember massage routine suitable for most people.
Massage therapy courses usually take several weeks, but this massage class teaches you everything you need to get started in a friendly half day massage workshop. Prices start from just $99 per person.

Q: How much is the massage course ?
A: It’s just $149 per person or $298 per couple.
Q: Do I need to bring a partner?
A: We can match you up with another course member or you can bring your own partner.
Q: How long is the class?
A: This is a half day workshop of about 3 – 4 hours .
Q: What areas are covered in the massage?
A: This workshop’s focus is on teaching a 30 min back, neck and shoulder massage. Other areas may be covered, if requested.
Q : When is the next course ?
A: Please email us info@aucklandtherapeuticmassage.co.nz or click here to find out about our next date. They are usually every couple of months on a weekend day.
Q: Do I get a certificate at the end ?
A: No. This course is a taster course for complete beginners and not a recognized qualification.
Q: Do I need to bring anything and what do I wear ?
A: We provide all oils, towels and massage tables you need for the course. You do not need to bring anything, but a pen and paper to take notes may help. We recommend for ladies to bring a bikini style top , but this is not compulsory. Changing facilities are available and no part of the body other than the back is exposed at any time during the course.
