Triathlon New Zealand Duo Series – See you there !

We are proud to announce we will be the chosen massage provider at Triathlon New Zealand’s Duo Series !

The first event will be at Villa Maria Vinyards in Auckland on the 16th of November , with races available for teams and individuals, as well as a kids race. The event is also a qualifying event for the ITU World Duathlon Championships in Spain 2016 (how awesome would that be !?)

There will be races in Wellington and also Christchurch in January to complete the series (and yes, we will be travelling to those as well 🙂

‘We are very excited to be holding the brand new Auckland Duathlon at Villa Maria Estate, one of New Zealand’s most recognised wineries. Famous not only for its wine, but a specialist in fine dining and entertainment and host to major concerts, weddings and corporate functions, Villa Maria will provide a unique experience and super fun day out for participants and spectators alike.

Whether you’re a first-timer, a seasoned pro, looking to go longer or faster, or keen to team up with a mate to try something new – the Duo Auckland has a race for you:

  • Kids Race (1km Barrel Run) – for 5 to 10 year olds
  • The Short Distance (2.5km run, 10km bike, 1.2km run) – perfect for first timers, teams and youth
  • The Sprint/Mid Distance (5km run, 20km bike, 2.5km run)
  • The Standard Distance (10km run, 40km bike, 5km run)

Have you ever wished you could represent NZ in a sport?

You could be closer than you think! Age Group racing provides athletes from ages 16-85+ with an opportunity to represent their country. This event includes two qualifying races for those who want to qualify for the 2016 Aviles ITU World Duathlon Championships (Spain).  Find out more.

The sprint distance duathlon is a NZ Championship and NZ Paraduathlon Championship event. And the standard distance duathlon also doubles as NZ Champs.
