Work with us

At Auckland Therapeutic Massage we are always welcoming applications from therapists, who are interested in working with us.

We areWork with us a friendly, supportive, international team at our clinic and are always looking to expand. Working with us means being able to work largely independently, relate well to clients and have a degree of common sense.
We work exclusively with fully trained therapists with at least 2- 5 years experience.

Massage therapists work with us as contractors at sports events, at corporate on site locations  and using both massage tables and massage chairs.

If this is you, we would love to hear from you – please email Carmen at

Looking forward to hearing from you !

Please accept our apologies in advance that we can not assist with any kind of Visa application and can only work with therapists, who are already eligible to work in New Zealand.

We will respond to suitable applicants only to invite you to an interview and a short massage test.

As with many skills based professions, you often end up working for yourself. For some of us, becoming a massage therapist is a journey of discovery and a desire to help people.

However often it soon becomes clear, that running a business on top of this is a whole different skill to performing a good massage. Many have lost their passion as a massage therapist, because it just became to hard to make it work.

Having worked in the industry for nearly 2 decades, my knowledge and experience of how to successfully run a massage clinic business has accumulated over time. Many lessons have been learned and I now look at other therapists starting out and see how having a little bit of help and advice can go a very long way. Working in partnership with an established business and an experienced therapist can help you to avoid the countless financial and operational pitfalls of running a massage clinic.

I am also inviting interest in a workshop on this issue  HOW TO RUN A SUCCESSFUL MASSAGE CLINIC . If you would be interested to attend, please email me (date to be confirmed).
