Employee benefits program – new at Auckland Therapeutic Massage

A couple of years ago, our clients started asking us, if we would come to their offices or special events to do on site massage or chair massage. It seemed like a really easy thing to add to their employee benefits and we were only to happy to oblige. Over time, this side of the business has grown into a full blown separate part of our clinic and we now visit over 20 companies regularly each month. What started out as a staff perk has soon become a very popular service as part of the corporate wellness strategy for many of our clients.

This idea is not just a luxury only large corporates can afford. Even small businesses can easily add employee benefits for their workforce, for example as a user pays service or other ideas.

So this got us thinking: How could we extend what we do to an even more staff members ? How could we work with the businesses we visit to give even more benefits to their staff ? Many of our clients told us, that while they loved our monthly visits to their offices, they would love to have a ‘proper’ session at our clinic beyond a quick 15 minutes in the massage chair. So last month we started our inaugural program of employee discounts with NZTMA in line with their corporate wellness vision. Hurrah !

How does the employee benefits program work ?

In essence the company purchases a membership with us, which allows their staff members to book a massage with us at a discounted rate. Memberships are available on 3 levels:

• level one : company pays a monthly membership of $199 for a 20 % discount
• level two : company pays a monthly membership of $299 for a 30 % discount
• level three: company pays a monthly membership of $499 for a 50% discount
